Thank You, Bob Lutz!

Thank You, Bob Lutz!

I wanted to write a quick little thank you note to Bob Lutz, General Motors' Product Czar, for providing fodder for my first ever blog post!

GM can hardly be described as the world's greenest car company, but who knew they were so far behind? This month, the high ranking exec and apparent climate change expert told a group of reporters in a closed door meeting that, and I quote,

"Global warming is a crock of sh%t."

Bob, the doors may have been closed, but the reporters were IN THE ROOM with you. I don't know what "scientists" have your ear on this one, but if its the same kind that are making a fortune off of Airborne ("created by a former second grade teacher!") then I'd recommend checking in with any one of the intellectual majority of the scientific community for an effervescent dose of the truth.

So thanks, Bob, for making it so easy for me to get started.

roman!

Thus another reason why I don't drive a GM car, and sadly I will never drive a BMW Hydrogen one either. Sigh!

I've not owned a car in 10 years .. lol

domestic in general has a long way to catch up in car quality

That car looks like Batman's car!

Taking care of the place you live and the air you breathe is not just a waste of time or whatever that guy thinks. People will buy more cars that are more eco-friendly-- I know ppl who have gotten rebates b/c they bought a more efficient car.

aw, now im sad that my car is GM :( ...

maybe i should have kept that to myself...

If he doesn't believe in global warming, why did Chevy make an electric car (volt)? Just have to wonder sometimes.....

As much as the whole "fossil-fuel car" thingy is not my favourite, I am interested in the upcoming Chevy Volt. Being all electric, even with a short range, is tempting to me. I don't drive that far on a daily basis so it would be perfect. I think I'll wait a few years until they work out the version 1.0 bugs.

the reason I don't drive any car anymore. This type of greed first attitude, with no thought to anything other than making profit.
