JD Vancouver, BC

One thing I find hardest to do is write these "who am I?" introductions. It's usually people tooting their own horns or trying to sound cooler than they really are.

I was a star athlete in high school and spend 8 hours a day in the gym, I play every sport known to man, saved numerous lives before I turned 30 and graduated with honors from an Ivy league university. I dedicate ALL my spare time volunteering to read to deaf babies, I have more money than I know what to do with and I drive a vehicle big enough to carry a small Nigerian village just because I can.

There...do you like me now? Am I uber cool?

Okay really...in order to fit into the space allowed I will keep it short.
- I believe that the 3 L's make for a happy fulfilling life - Living, Loving & Learning
- I try to have compassion for ALL earthlings, but most humans make it hard
- I try to find humor everywhere in this big serious world of ours
- My wife, art and music are my 3 great loves
- I work for eBay

This blogger is about to be a dad!!
My wife is due with our first child at the end of August and (I know you are wondering) it's a girl!!! Of course we are going to raise her to be as green as possible, but our big concern right now is....how to be green while raising a baby. We not only want to make... More

A Bad Case of the Humans June 6 2008 at 12:00 PM

I stumbled across this video today and just needed to share it with all of you.
** Be warned though, if cute cartoon blood turns your stomach, don't watch **

We are heading down an ugly path folks....
True, people are being more green but we all need to do so much more, and those of us that are trying... More

Just Listen..... June 2 2008 at 12:00 PM

Anyone that knows me well knows that if I ever leave the house alone there are headphones in my ears plugged in to an iPod in my pocket. Music is playing at least 10 hours or more of every day for me. In fact, iTunes is bumping away right now. This morning was no different, I went for a jog con headphones... More

Gimme that planet grandma! May 23 2008 at 12:00 PM

In speaking with my parents, their friends and people about their age, I have noticed that being green and doing things to help the environment is fairly low on their list of priorities and not so much because they don't care, but more so because they feel environmentalism is a youth movement, something... Love it!!!
Gave me the tingles and that is always a good thing.

It's amazing the difference one tiny thing can make, most of us don't realize it because we don't live in poverty or wonder when our next meal will come. When you see what a tiny donation can do in the long run it really puts things... More
