I've been with eBay since the tail end of 2000 and in 2002 took responsibility for creating a program to support charity listings on the site... thus eBay Giving Works was born - it's the professional accomplishment I am most proud of :-)

I too am quite thankful for the return of some of my favorites! It's not been the same without Gossip Girl and Grey's Anatomy and the list goes on.
But on a scary note... and I'll probably get these stats wrong but... I heard in a speech at the Web 2.0 expo the other day that Americans watch something like 100 million hours of TV a year, which is the equivalent of building approx 2,000 Wikipedia sized projects. Waste time much???

I'll go with:
1) Being genuine and authentic - know who you are and live it, always
2) Passion - make sure whatever you spend your time on, it's something you care about
3) One can always do more! - enough said
4) Empathy, open mindedness, and a warm heart
5) Life's meaning is absolutely linked to the impact we have on others
Perhaps more aspirational at times...
