loving the chocolate you're describing Felice - tell me where I can get some!!! wait, am I reading correctly that you MADE them - wow... can we place orders?
have you ever tried Franz (the ones with the milk or dark chocolate covered caramel, with light or dark sea salt on top - my faves!)
I too am quite thankful for the return of some of my favorites! It's not been the same without Gossip Girl and Grey's Anatomy and the list goes on.
But on a scary note... and I'll probably get these stats wrong but... I heard in a speech at the Web 2.0 expo the other day that Americans watch something like 100 million hours of TV a year, which is the equivalent of building approx 2,000 Wikipedia sized projects. Waste time much???
I'll go with:
1) Being genuine and authentic - know who you are and live it, always
2) Passion - make sure whatever you spend your time on, it's something you care about
3) One can always do more! - enough said
4) Empathy, open mindedness, and a warm heart
5) Life's meaning is absolutely linked to the impact we have on others
Lately, I've been really good about taking a bag to the grocery store (Whole Foods, right across the street, so dangerous for me, I love it!!). And I use a bottle for my daily 8-10 glasses of agua. But I'm really bad about the coffee tumbler - I almost always just get the paper cups. This post has inspired me to try to change my ways... thank you!!
So, speaking of water bottles... does anyone know where to get a really good one? I just heard about a segment on the Today Show saying that if your bottle has a 3, 5, or 7 on the bottom, it may not be ideal (could be leaching bad chemicals into your water) - mine is a 7 :-(
And thank you for the quick email/txt idea... we all need to show each other a little more love!
First, you and Karen look supremely fab in front of the Tanqueray sign!
Second... I think "casual caring" is hot. I'm all for anything that gets people engaged. And if it's a simple act, something you'd be doing anyway, and GOOD is generated from it, all the better!!! Now, I'm not discouraging people from spending more time/money on important issues for sure - by all means, please, everyone, do more. But the more bracelets, parties, t-shirts, whatever makes an impact, the merrier.

Perhaps more aspirational at times...
