yeah, i am personally uncomfortable with In Vitro meat. I don't seem to see the incentive a meat eater would have to go from "natural meat" to in vitro. I don't think that die-hard vegetarians and vegans are going to be persuaded to eat meat through this effort either.
Nice! I will have to look into this more. I would love to do a book drive at my work as well and possibly get some customers involved. Thanks for the info! :0)
I really enjoyed your blog. It is so wonderful to hear people say nice things about the company they work for. It is a really awesoem place to work. All the friends I have who work for Ebay say wonderful things about the company. It is also refreshing to hear how Ebay values its employees. I love how Ebay offers multiple ways for people to give back to their communities (Giving Works).
I love how easy it is to excercise our opinions on this website.
What a fun post! I can't wait to see the movie, and I am glad to hear that Cynthia is such an advocate for her cause. I love her, and am happy that she is in remission.
I came up as Miranda when I took the quiz. I also took the quiz that tells you which male character you are most compatible with, and according to the ten questions I answered I am meant to be with one of the Harry Goldenblatts of this world.
I can't wait to see the movie. I've heard it's excellent (how could it not be?) and hope to see it on the IMAX screen. Roman, I think you should use your life savings and buy that guitar.
Too bad I didn't see this post earlier. It looks as if a fair amount of "good" definitions have already been listed, in lists (no less).
I try to live by the golden rule, and with that said I try to attribute some (if not all) of these "goodnesses" in my day to day interactions: consideration, listening, empathy, sympathy, kindness, honesty, genuineness, knowledge and the ability to share knowledge, respect, passion, accountability, ability to laugh at yourself, finding beauty in the scenery/surroundings, dancing, conversation, open-mindedness, music…
And this song:
So many of us get caught up in a generalization of a problem that we feel that in order to contribute to the overall solution we must tackle it head on. Like you said, there are smaller chapters of many causes that are often more accessible. The "smaller" efforts are often what can prepare you to eventually take on something "big" without stretching yourself too thin. Local charities often act as catalysts for volunteers to recognize their passion(s) about many other issues.
